Mosman Park renovation

Oct 17, 2019

When our clients approached us about renovating their traditional Riverstone home, 20 years after we built it, we were excited to have the opportunity to refresh an old gem. The home was in pristine condition, beautifully maintained and presented, manicured gardens – the owners are house proud and have taken good care of the home.

We built the Mosman Park residence circa 1999, and the front elevation has stood the test of time, maintaining a strong, classic street presence all these years later. An interior refresh was all that was needed!

After almost 20 years, the original interiors needed to be updated. Our design team set to work on redesigning the kitchen, bathroom and laundry, and our Interior Architect Nadia worked with the client on new selections, keeping with the traditional style of the home.

“The clients wanted to maintain a traditional style so we integrated a more classic country farmhouse scheme to the interior.” Nadia says. “A combination of shaker style doors in heritage colours, classic profile fittings and subway tiles created a timeless understated elegance.”

Once the design work was finalised and approved, we removed the old cabinetry, plumbing and light fixtures, and completed a brand new fitout. Our trades were in and out in around 4 weeks.

It has completely refreshed the home, while still maintaining it’s original Mosman Park character, and our clients are extremely happy with the finished project.
