The unmistakeable sophisticated warmth of the Hamptons style has been beautifully captured in Riverstone’s newest luxury display home in Nedlands. With the glamorous appeal of New York’s seaside haven, the exterior achieves the classic Hamptons look through weatherboard cladding, rendered brickwork and a grey and white colour palette, while the theme is continued inside with timber cladding, built-in window seats and painted timber ceiling recesses.

Hamptons look house

Custom designed for our client, the home has plenty of personalised touches to give it a relaxed, homely feel, with a charming upstairs reading nook, built-in book shelving under the stairs and a functional entry pass/cloakroom with a fixed bench-seat and cabinetry.

Built over two levels and featuring five-bedrooms, three-bathrooms and multiple living spaces, the floorplan caters perfectly for families.

Upstairs the master suite is a stunning retreat, complete with a substantial walk-in robe. The ensuite and main bathroom showcase on-trend Herringbone-laid tiles, and two of the three minor bedrooms on this level feature the cosy window seats.

The beautiful built-in furniture is continued in the reading nook and activity room; a space where you could lose yourself for hours, as it fully embraces the Hamptons charm with exquisite cabinetry and bookshelves.

How to style built-in cabinets

Downstairs, the kitchen is the spectacular heart of the home, well designed with an adjoining scullery, Miele appliances, white matte cabinetry and the ample benchtops are finished in crisp luna white Quantum Quartz. The central island features a Ceasarstone benchtop and is positioned underneath an eye-catching archway - a striking architectural design feature that slightly separates the kitchen from the vast, open dining area.

This flows through to the living room which centres around a fireplace with feature panelling on the surrounding walls, and both the living and dining open out onto the alfresco.

Guests are well catered for in the generous guest suite, with the bedroom separated from the ensuite through a walk-in robe. Open shelves and cabinetry are built into in the study, and Oak coloured timber floors feature throughout the home.

Luxury bedroom styling

Externally, the white-framed windows and timber posts in both the alfresco area and front verandah finish the home beautifully, superbly encapsulating the classic Hamptons look and feel – exactly what our clients envisaged.

Picture yourself living in your own version of this stunning home, which is open for viewing for a limited time only.
